the other day i picked this bouquet out of the garden...i wasnt feeling particularly inspired to pain this but i felt a nudge to do it anyway...to press through to paint anyway even when i don't feel like it. the clors ministered to my soul...so happy and so confetti-like...so much joy and God was talking..."aren't you glad you pressed through?...feelings lie to you and, if you just obey me, there is so much joy on the other side of it" sometimes the obedience God is asking us for is only because He has a sweet gift to give us on the other side...
